Getrude Mukei is a Senior Metrologist at the Kenya Bureau of Standards, where she applies her expertise in maintaining the SI Unit of Temperature and disseminating this precise unit of measurement to the industries. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Technical and Applied Physics, and her research interests lie in the field of Optical Physics.
In addition to her professional role, Getrude serves as the Treasurer of the Physics Society of Kenya, contributing to the advancement and promotion of physics within the country. She is passionate about scientific research, innovation, and community engagement in the physical sciences.
