Dr. Joseph Muna Karanja

Committee member, PSK

Dr. Joseph Muna Karanja is a Council Member of the Physics Society of Kenya. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechatronics from Wuhan University of Technology in China, an M.Sc. in Electronics and Instrumentation from Kenyatta University, and a B.Ed. in Physics and Mathematics from Egerton University in Kenya.

He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Pure and Applied Sciences at Kirinyaga University, where he teaches and supervises research in applied physics and engineering.

Dr. Karanja’s research interests include sensors and sensor networks, laser micromachining, and the fabrication of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC).
